Before downloading anything below, you may need a program or two.
Rainmeter
Rainmeter is a desktop customization platform. Through Rainmeter, you can enhance your Windows computer at home or work with skins: handy, compact applets which float freely on your desktop, much like Windows Sidebar gagdgets, or dashboard widgets for the Mac. Here are a few Rainmeter "apps" I've made for myself but feel free to use them in in way you want.
GEAR* Rainmeter
A simple "decoration-only" app. It doesn't do anything except spin. Nice to look at though. 2 different gears included.
ColorPad is mainly a hex color mixer, and will show any color's hex and decimal values. It can also capture colors from the screen, or generate them on the fly. Something I use everyday, so I made this skin to go with the "Noirtek Desktop"
After downloading and saving to harddrive, drag the html file into your browser. Set as homepage. PSD file included to created your own color scheme or change links.
Free Music! And I use the term "music" lightly. These "songs" are part of a musical experiment I was working on a few years ago. Mostly just messing around with Audacity and various VST's I found on the internetz. (I've since moved on to FL Studio) Mostly samples of my wife, vaccuums, strange noises, movies, and Hitler.
